BladeBook SMS messaging program

1865 Free Money LLC operates BladeBook and is the sole sender of these messages. We send them from our own phone number, about appointments you arranged in BladeBook. We do not send on behalf of any other company, and we do not resell messaging capability.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your own mobile number in BladeBook when you book an appointment, join a shop's walk-in waitlist, or check in on the web kiosk. At that point, directly beneath the phone field and above the confirm button, we display:

“By entering your number you agree to receive text messages from BladeBook about this visit: appointment updates and walk-in waitlist status from your barber. Msg frequency varies (about 1-6 per visit). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. See Terms and Privacy Policy.”

Beneath that sits a separate checkbox, unchecked by default, for the one promotional message we send: “Also text me re-booking reminders when I am due for my next cut.” Leaving it unticked does not affect your booking, and we never send a re-booking reminder to anyone who did not tick it.

We never buy, rent, or import phone number lists. The only way your number enters this program is that you typed it into BladeBook yourself while arranging your own appointment.

Messages you may receive

Transactional

• Running-late notice: Your barber tells you they are running behind for the appointment you booked, and by how long.
• Walk-in waitlist position: Where you stand in line at the shop you checked into, and your estimated wait.
• Your chair is ready: A heads-up when you reach the front of the walk-in queue.

Promotional

• Re-booking reminder: If you asked your barber to put you on a recurring haircut schedule AND ticked the optional re-booking checkbox at the phone field, a periodic nudge when you are due for your next cut. Never sent to anyone who did not tick that box.

Frequency, cost, and how to stop

• Message frequency: varies by how often you book — approximately 1 to 6 messages per appointment cycle.
• Cost: BladeBook does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number immediately.
• Help: reply HELP, or email oouchie@1865freemoney.com.
• Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
